Michele’s Mischief: A Tale of Facebook Fun

A Very Wet Day

Rain, Weddings, and Mischief

Today, oh, today has been one of those days where even the ducks would stay indoors, fearing they’d get waterlogged feathers! Yes, dear reader, I’m talking about a complete washout of a day. The heavens have opened, and it’s been raining cats and dogs all day long. As the soggy skies pour down, we can only cross our fingers and hope that the morrow brings sunshine, especially for the Queen’s Garden Party in Timperley. Will the rain persist, or will the sunshine reign supreme? We shall soon find out.

A Wedding Night to Remember

Last night, the stars of our evening were Lucy and Matt, who decided to tie the knot at the enchanting Rivington Barn. It was a beautiful occasion, but alas, my role for the evening was that of a designated driver. You see, my beloved Michele hadn’t been feeling her best throughout the day, and I, being the gallant knight, gallantly steered our chariot to the festivities. However, it was a different story on the way back home; it was Michele’s turn to take the wheel.

A Mischief-Making Michele

But, oh, the night took an unexpected turn as Michele decided to be a bit mischievous. She, in her infinite wisdom, revealed a picture to Lewis, of one of her coworkers. Now, you might be thinking, what’s so special about that? Well, here’s the twist: Lewis, a young lad, seemed rather taken with her, even though there’s a considerable age gap of twelve years between them. He boldly requested to befriend her on the enigmatic realm of Facebook. Michele, with a twinkle in her eye and a smirk on her face, decided to have some fun. She snapped a photo of her co-worker with me, her handsome partner in crime, and promptly emailed it to him. The response was just as expected – Lewis was on his way! He lamented how unjust it was that he couldn’t make it to the celebration.

Chauffeuring for the Kiddos

As for today, well, we’ve found ourselves in the roles of chauffeurs for the little ones. It’s been a whirlwind of a day, with us darting to and fro, ferrying the children to their various destinations. Where there’s mischief, there’s adventure, and we’ve had our fair share of both.
