well that is the TV schedule wrecked for the next 3 weeks as we now get over-run with ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
There are more B listed celebrity’s trying to get back into our living rooms again.
How on earth can this type of show compete with BBC2’s Birth of an Iceberg?
Moaning put to one side my predictions is either Brian Connolly or Eric Bristow to win. Even the eye candy is lacking this year 🙁
The week at work was busy as I was working on a scheme for our Leeds office which was very enjoyable, however the commitment to the Manchester Education teams work was putandnbsp;on hold. We are currently exploring the need to extend our Autodeskandnbsp;REVITandnbsp;software as BIMandnbsp;is now beginningandnbsp;to take a real hold in the industry. We have even asked for some REVIT training for some of the Manchester staff.
Saturday was spentandnbsp;doing a little bitandnbsp;of shopping, then watching United play in a late KO at Villa Park. The team went 2-0 down before a Chico master class in scoringandnbsp;to make it 2-3. Still leaves us top of the table for now. In the evening we had Dix staying over, we revisited our Jamaican holiday by mixing Pinaandnbsp;Colada’sandnbsp; and Strawberry daiquiri. Mixed camp as Michele preferred the strawberry cocktail whilst Dix and I preferred the Pinaandnbsp;Colada’s.
Sunday was a visitandnbsp;over to Timperleyandnbsp;to see Sam, Matt and Harry as well as have roast lamb with mum and dad. Harry looked well albeit for the odd coughing fit. I’m sure he’ll beat this whooping cough.
Now back to the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, it’s even getting in the way of the BBC news at 22:00hrs!!
I can say that I have never watched one episode of “I’m a has-been and need media exposure”. Don’t see the attraction; it is basically cheap television as no script writers are required… or maybe I’m just old.
totally agree with you Mike, waste of electricity but I don’t control the remote in our house Mrs C does 😉
You need a good mediacentre to get over that problem. I now stream all our movies, TV Series etc, etc over wifi to my WP7 phone ad to the other half’s iTouch from the central server.
just reading up on MePo to see if there is any benefit for us, may need a visit from my favorite Bury Lad to help discus my current situation.
