wow what a week makes, Lewis is finally growing into a man.
He managed to get himself an apprenticeship at a local hotel as a trainee chef and started on Tuesday. He’s got up every morning with a smile on his face and come home every night bursting with chatter about what he is going to be doing in years to come with his own restaurant, even though he’s absolutely knackered. He’s had 6 days in and worked 45 hours which is more than I think he is allowed to do as a young worker but he now has 3 days off. I have chatted to the General Manager about the hours and he’s aware of my thoughts. For now I will monitor the situation with a close eye.
Joshua has finished school for the summer and will have 8 weeks of getting up to mischief.
We’ve still not found a holiday but will be looking at some of the late deals out there.
We had a great night last night celebrating Matt Swindell’s 16th birthday at Casa Nostra (http://www.casanostraitalian.co.uk/).
Also been to the Trafford Centre this afternoon and stocked up on some coffee at Nespresso (http://www.nespresso.com) and some new Vans (http://www.vans.co.uk/) for the boys.
