Been out to Naperville today just a short ride up the road from Julie’s house.
Naperville is a mid sized town by the looks of things with a sleepy river flowing through the heart of it. The ships are a typical selection to what you would find on the UK. Michele and Josh were happy as there was an apple store in town and we had to go in to look! Why when they’re all the same?
Again we were accosted because of our fabulous accents, three people she do love the English and would speak to us all day long 😉
We stopped off for some lite refreshments and I had a delightful IPA by Two Brothers brewery that had an after taste of grapefruit
Water gets dished out with everything though!
On the walk back to the car we found a statue to Dick Tracey, the cartoon hero
Elle found some street furniture that she took a rest on, one day she’ll appear on a front cover of a fashion magazine!
Then she was posing by a water feature, mad as a box of frogs! But a joy to be with x
This evening we’ve been out for tea (dinner) with Julie’s friend Teresa to Clara’s (http://www.clarasrestaurant) wow more food than we could eat again so more carry out bags. But wow the food was excellent a real must of you are visiting.
I’ve also had a drive in Julie’s Porsche tonight, a great little car and quick too.
