This week has been very strange with the weather, we’ve had rain and wind at theandnbsp;beginningandnbsp;of the week but it was still warm then towards the end of the week we’ve had blue skies and sunshine.
Lewis has had his 2nd week in work and is still enjoying his time especially as he was paid on Friday. Typical though he was at a party on Friday night and he asked me to buy him a couple of beers, but as he’s earning he was told to buy his own…… so guess what he bought the cheapest!
Sam had her baby shower on Friday night and by the sounds of it they all had a great time. Not sure about these american style events as we’re British 😉
Drew came over on saturday and spent the afternoon with Michele and I, we even popped over to where Lewis works for Drew to have a nosey, then we treated Drew to an ice cream at Frederick’s, Chorley (http://www.fredericksicecream.co.uk/).
Josh has spent the weekend out with his mates and he’s back on his x-box too, now the sun is out!
Watched an historic end to Le Tour de France (http://www.letour.fr/indexTDF_us.html) with Bradley Wiggins winning the General Classification ahead of his team mate Chris Froome both British and riding for Team Sky. The last stage was one by another Team Sky rider Mark Cavendish who broke another record by winning 4 straight finishes on theandnbsp;Champs-Élysées in 4 years.
Now for the Olympics in London which start on Friday.
