Unplanned Beginnings

Ah, the best-laid plans of mice and men… or in this case, the disastrous downfall of a perfectly planned holiday to Boston (#Ad). Picture this: it’s 2017, and we were all set to embark on an epic road trip through the charming streets of New England (#Ad). However, fate had other ideas for us – and it came in the form of a slippery pavement and a fractured shoulder.

Yes, dear readers, that’s how our journey to the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort And Spa in Mexico began. It wasn’t on the itinerary, it wasn’t penciled into our calendars, but life has a funny way of throwing curveballs when you least expect it. So there we were, sidelined from our Bostonian dreams, pondering our next move.

From Boston to… Mexico?

With driving out of the question and our spirits needing a hefty pick-me-up, we found ourselves contemplating the unthinkable: a beach holiday at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort And Spa. Now, let’s be honest – we’re not exactly the types to lounge idly on the sands, sipping mojitos and working on our tans. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and off to Mexico (#Ad) we went.

To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement of epic proportions. Mexico (#Ad), with its vibrant culture, delectable cuisine, and stunning landscapes, captured our hearts in a way we never anticipated.
