A Step Closer to the RAF for Lewis
Well, folks, it’s been quite the week in our household! Let’s start with a bit of exciting news about Lewis. This week, he took a significant step towards his dream of joining the Royal Air Force. Lewis sat his aptitude test and, drumroll please… he passed with flying colours! Next up, he’s got a verbal interview in a couple of weeks, followed by the medical and physical exams. Fingers crossed, everything goes smoothly. We’re absolutely chuffed for him and couldn’t be prouder.
Drew’s 23rd Birthday
In other news, our eldest, Drew, turned 23 this week. Can you believe it? Time flies when you’re having fun, or in our case, when your diary is chock-a-block. Unfortunately, we’ve been so busy that we haven’t had the chance to catch up with the birthday boy yet. I’m hoping this coming week will be a bit more forgiving, and I can steal some time to celebrate with Drew. After all, 23 is a milestone worth toasting!
Warmth at Last for Sam, Matt, and Harry
Moving on to the trio – Sam, Matt, and Harry. They’ve finally got heating installed in their new house. Remember our first visit when we practically turned into ice sculptures? Well, those days are behind us. Next time we pop over, it should be nice and toasty. It’s a relief knowing they won’t be freezing their socks off anymore. Here’s to cosy evenings and warm cups of tea in their new abode!
Josh’s Artistic Endeavours
Let’s talk about young Josh now. He’s been dabbling in a bit of graphic design and seems to have a real knack for it. He’s been whipping up some fantastic designs centred around his name. They look pretty slick if you ask me. Who knows, maybe we’ve got a future graphic designer in the family. Keep up the great work, Josh!
A Roaring Good Time for Mum and Dad
This week, Mum and Dad had a bit of a treat. They went to see The Lion King as a combined Mother’s Day and Dad’s Birthday gift from Rob, Sarah, Michele, and yours truly. According to the rave reviews they gave us, it was a spectacular show. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which makes the gift even sweeter. It’s always nice to give a gift that creates such lovely memories.
Work Week Ahead: CAD Standards
Looking ahead to the coming week, it’s going to be all about CAD Standards at work. I’ve got a meeting lined up with the ARCADIS lads, followed by another one with the Format Team. Here’s hoping we can come up with some brilliant changes that will benefit everyone involved. It’s going to be a busy one, but hopefully, a productive one too.
