A Day in the Life: CAD Chaos and BBQ Leftovers
Another Warm One, But Not So Scorching
Today was another toasty day, though not quite the scorcher we’ve had in recent days. A little reprieve from the heat, but not from the hustle and bustle in the office.
CAD Mayhem: Sketches Galore
Oh, the office was a hive of activity today. My desk was buried under a mountain of sketches and scribbles. All these doodles need to be transformed into polished CAD drawings and planning applications for the education team. You know the drill – it’s that time of year again. As the summer holidays loom, schools are emptying of children and filling up with builders. It’s a mad dash to get everything ready before the little ones return.
Chipping Away at the To-Do List
I managed to knock out a couple of projects today, which eased the pressure slightly. But I know tomorrow will be just as frantic. Such is the life of a CAD wizard during the summer rush.
A BBQ Bonanza for Dinner
Tonight’s dinner was a delightful encore of yesterday’s BBQ. Leftovers never tasted so good – a veritable meat feast featuring chicken, sausages, and burgers, all paired with a fresh, crisp salad. Who says leftovers can’t be gourmet?
Cheering for John at the Isle of Man TT
On a more thrilling note, I checked in on my mate John (The RAM), who’s riding in the Isle of Man TT races 2012 for the first time. He’s finding his groove and seems to be settling in nicely. For those interested, here’s a link to Saturday’s practice session. Keep it steady, Mr. Ingram – we’re all rooting for you!
Wrapping Up the Day
And now, it’s time to unwind and catch up with Michele. Until tomorrow, everyone. Goodnight!
