Lewis Takes the Culinary Plunge: From Radisson to Cau

The Adventures of a Smaller Nest

A Farewell to the Big ‘Un

Well, well, well! Would you believe it? Today marked a monumental shift in the dynamics of our humble abode. We bid adieu to our not-so-little-anymore lad as he spread his wings and ventured into the big bad world of solo living. Yes, folks, brace yourselves – we are now down to just one offspring roaming the halls of our once bustling domicile.

The Tearful Farewell

Picture this: Michele, bless her soul, shedding a few heartfelt tears in the morning as we prepared for the grand migration to Salford. Our very own ‘little BIG Chef’, as we fondly call him, was about to embark on his solo culinary escapades in his spanking new flat. And oh, the waterworks continued as we reluctantly drove away, leaving behind an empty nest (well, almost empty) and a void that only a mother’s love can truly fill. Joshua, our remaining young lad, now faces the daunting task of navigating the household without the towering presence of his elder sibling. Let’s hope he doesn’t get too lost in the wilderness of sibling absence!

Lewis Takes the Leap

In other news, our lad Lewis has decided to shake things up a bit on the career front. Say goodbye to The Radisson Blu and hello to Cau, Media City, Salford! He’s traded his apron for a Chef de Party hat in this brand spanking new restaurant that’s all the rage in embracing Argentinian cuisine. With 15 successful establishments already gracing the UK, the opening of Cau in Media City marks a promising venture into new culinary territories. Here’s to Lewis – may your pots never burn and your steaks always sizzle!

Festive Frenzy

Ah, Christmas – the season of merriment and mayhem! Michele has taken it upon herself to sprinkle a little festive magic around the house, decking the halls with boughs of holly and all that jazz. With the tree twinkling and the decorations adorning every nook and cranny, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our humble abode. Now, if only we could summon the elves to wrap those pesky presents, we’d be golden!

Party Galore

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and boy, are we making the most of it! The Christmas party circuit is in full swing, and we’re riding the festive wave with gusto. From merry gatherings with Team Whatmuff to Michele’s soirée at hotel Innside, we’re spreading cheer like confetti. My next shindig is at the Macdonald Hotel, Manchester, and I’ve got my party hat at the ready. And let’s not forget the grand finale – the traditional lunchtime pint with the ‘Old Boys’. It’s a tried and tested formula for festive frolics, and by golly, it never disappoints!

United in Despair?

Ah, football – the eternal rollercoaster of emotions! Manchester United fans, brace yourselves for a wild ride. It’s been a rough week for the lads in red, with defeats in the Champions Group stage and a disappointing outing against Bournemouth. Will Louis Van Gall work his magic and steer the team back to victory? Only time will tell, my friends, only time will tell.
