UNFORTUNATELY EUROCAMP NO LONGER USE THIS SITE – They do have alternative sites in the area so follow the link below
Again we took all 4 kids here. This time we elected to sail from Portsmouth to St Malo but changed our route back home to St Malo to Poole. Personally I think that this was the best crossing we have done as we got a 4 berth cabin & 2 club class seats (even though we all managed to get in the cabin OK) on the boat for the 12 hour outward crossing & just seats for the 4.5 hour crossing back.
The drive this time took just over 3 hours to complete the 160 mile route even though we travelled further south than our trip to Brittany has we did not have to negotiate the Cherbourg peninsular.
This time we opted for a 3 bed caravan which was a little easier although Sam had to share with Josh.
This site seemed a little bit smaller than the one in Brittany but in no way less enjoyable.
The weather was warmer than Brittany, but Michele still wanted it warmer! Again we had some wet days even in August, but again this did not spoil the holiday.
We had some nice day trips out but especially to Noimoutier to the North of the site & Les Sables-d’Olonne to the South.
