Chicago – 2014

More to follow soon of our adventures in Chicago, but in the meantime…………..

Day ONE – Early start today as the alarm clock went off at 03:40 ???? but we all needed a shower before our two flight haul across……………

Day TWO – Body clock was a little bit out of kilter as I woke at 05:00, however we had a very restful sleep – thanks Elle your room is……………………

Day THREE – We had another early start today as I’d boxed Julie’s car in and she needed to go to work! I did wake up in time to move…………………..

Day FOUR – Not too early a start today as we had only set a timescale of 10:30 on the road but as usual we had to wait for Lewis but………………………….

Day FIVE – I think my grumpy neighbour has followed us to the US as this morning when I got to the car I’d got a $20 for parking outside………………….

Day SIX – It’s been a week since I finished work and time has floated by so slowly as we seem to have been here for ages, I bet it feels………………………….

Day SEVEN – Been here now almost a full week and like I’ve said before it’s been ticking over so slowly I don’t think any of us want……………………………..

Day EIGHT – Shopping day all day today. Julie, Elle, Joshua, Mrs C and myself have been out to two shipping mall’s and one sports super…………..

Day NINE – After a late night last night at Buddy Guys Legends blues bar we’ve had a very lazy day today where we have only left the……….

Day TEN – Been out shopping all day today at an out of town shopping mall the other side of Naperville on route 88……………….

Day ELEVEN – Up and out by 10:00 today to fill the car up. Even more positives for looking at moving over as it only cost us £0.62/litre…………..

Day TWELVE – Battled to get Lewis out of his pit this morning so it was a stressful day before we’d even started………………..

Day THIRTEEN – Been out to Naperville today just a short ride up the road from Julie’s house…………

Day FOURTEEN – Well that’s two weeks gone bye and I’m still convinced that it’s floating bye slowly. I think that we are all chilled…………………….

Day FIFTEEN – Another fantastic sunny day in Lisle, worst of all we laid in and missed some of it…………………..

Day SIXTEEN – Late Sunday start today and that can’t be blamed on Simon Rimmer or Tim Lovejoy from Sunday Brunch…………………

Day SEVENTEEN – Well today has been our last full day here as tomorrow (Tuesday) is packing and flight home, we fly out at………………………

Day EIGHTEEN – Well we are almost home or would be even closer if we hadn’t been delayed on the tarmac at Chicago for 50 minutes…………
