Body clock was a little bit out of kilter as I woke at 05:00, however we had a very restful sleep – thanks Elle your room is very comfortable.
Mrs C had a little flap this morning as she couldn’t get Key 103 on her iPad so had to listen to smooth instead!
We sent out for breakfast to a little diner called Morning Cafe and I’ve never been so stuffed after eating as much as I was after if eaten here, the two pancake were possibly two pancakes too many. Lewis the only one to finish his order.
Then we drove over to Lisle for à walk around town. Lisle is a very clean, smart little village about the size of Timperley. They’ve even got a shop named after me called GC
The afternoon consisted of a drive over to Wheaton where the girls went on a shipping spree. Mrs C and Elle were busy changing Julie’s wardrobe! For being a good boy while the girls shopped I was taken for a beer at Warrens Ale House.
On the drive back we passed the biggest US flag ever outside the office of Navistar fluttering in the breeze
This evening we’ve had a lazy night watching TV and planning tomorrow’s trip into Chicago
In getting tired now so I’ll sign off
